ASK ANDREW A QUESTION:

There is a good deal of collage work in the Flashpoint Gallery. Does this style remind you of work you’ve seen elsewhere?

In the 80’s technology was limited. What challenges do you think designers and artists encountered with so few tools for creating their poster art?

If you were to glance over the shoulder of Clint Conley of Mission of Burma while he was creating a poster, what do you think you would find on his work table?

Do you think the poster designers where focused on creating art or pretty much just pitching their message?

How would you describe the body of work in the gallery by the Artist Collective Punkt Data?

If I asked you to take the tools you work with today to create a large format electronic sculptured music poster say for the band La Peste, what might you come up with?
